SELF–RELIANCE
In order to encourage self-reliance,
the school established small-scale projects which give support in one way or
another such as:
KIOSK:
We have a kiosk to keep the children in the
school compound and to stop them from buying things from other places during the
school hours. However, this is just
a service rather than profit- making business.
The
school does not only aim at developing the minds and mental abilities of the
children. Here pupils buy soft
drinks at the school kiosk during break time.

|
|
DAIRY
AND POULTRY:
The
borders benefit a lot from both dairy and poultry products.
Poultry is among the school
projects. The school has got few cows, which
provide us with milk, especially the boarders.
|
The school keeps
chickens, which benefit the school in different ways such as getting eggs,
manure and meat. |
|
|
FRUITS
AND VEGETABLES:
In a small-scale project satisfy some of our methods
of imparting knowledge and other human necessities.
The
school has got many projects; one of them is the school garden.
In the garden different crops are grown; those include pawpaws, guavas,
tomatoes, spinach, cabbages, bananas etc.

Out of charity, the school has continued carrying the burden of
educating about five to six pupils (orphans) who lost their parents in the
recent years. For example, in 1999 – 2000 they were five, six in 2000 - 2001 and four in
2001-2002.
